  • Solar is Coming to Rosedale!

    The Rosedale Union School District and SunEdison have partnered to bring solar to our school sites and reduce our power expenditures. This exciting partnership will save us immediate dollars that can be redirected to the classroom for years to come. Beginning next month, SunEdison will be installing “Solar Carports” on each of our nine campuses. This endeavor is at no cost for the district for installation and SunEdison will provide the maintenance and service for this project for the next 20 years.

  • Robots in the Classroom

    Nicole Bristol, teacher at Independence Elementary, was named One Classroom at a Time from Channel 29 and has created a Robot Program in her classroom. Students participate creating motorized robots and have competed in a local competition. This is an exciting program for her students!

Our District Mission

The mission of the Rosedale Union School District is to educate all students so they may become career and college ready. Toward this end, the school community is committed to providing a child-centered learning environment with high expectations for student achievement and parent involvement through common goals.

A comprehensive 21st century core curriculum with high standards is emphasized and the diversity of learners is valued, so that each student will reach their full potential. Students will be provided with appropriate and meaningful instruction that develops self-worth and self-discipline through analytical and creative thinking as well as the mastery of curricular and technical skills.
