• Dear Students,

My name is Ms. Miranda and I am overjoyed to be your 8th grade science teacher this year! I am sure you are just as excited as I am about learning Physical and Biological cross-cutting concepts and phenomena. I believe we can achieve anything by working together and my goal is to guide you to think like a scientist with high-order logical and critical thinking skills that can be utilized inside and outside of the classroom. I believe you will all end this school year successfully and have learned more while having fun doing it.

    Dear Parents,

I am honored to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on your child’s life this coming school year. I believe that collaborating with one another is vital to your child’s success. I would like you to view our relationship with one another as teammates. I invite you to join the education team and encourage you to be involved in your child’s school life. I will always be on your child’s corner, rooting for their development and growth academically.

    Class Expectations
I believe that students have the right to learn and the teacher has the right to teach. I will provide a safe environment where students feel valued and comfortable. Our classroom is a community, we are all here to enjoy learning from one another. It is important to continuously cultivate respect and responsibility.
