I am a Rosedale School District graduate. I attended Kindergarten - 8th grade in the Rosedale School District when there was only one school in the district. After obtaining my teaching credential I taught for 5 years in Bakersfield City School District. I moved to the Rosedale School District in the fall of 1997. I taught 3rd grade at Almondale until June 2019. In the fall of 2019, I became the Dean of Students.

Almondale is a place where ALL students can be successful, and my goal is to help each student to do their very best. I work with students to set goals and encourage them to work to attain these goals throughout the year. I also work with students in intervention groups, All Star Valet, Grounds Crew, Student Council, POP (Power of Play), and many other activities around campus. Please feel free to stop by my office if you need any help or just to pop in and say "Hello."
