Library

You will find a large collection of books in our Library that have been selected to meet the interests and reading levels of our students, as well as to enrich and extend the school curriculum. Computers provide access to the Internet, as well as software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Publisher.
Students may drop in and visit the library before school, or during recess and lunch, to browse for books, work on homework, or quietly visit with friends. Computers are frequently used to research a class project, visit educational web sites.
“It is not enough to simply teach children to read; we have to give them something worth reading. Something that will stretch their imaginations--something that will help them make sense of their own lives and encourage them to reach out toward people whose lives are quite different from their own.”
