Student Transfer Requests

1.) Use the link below to select the transfer form for the type of transfer you are requesting.
 
2.) Fill out your request (please make sure everything on your request is complete and legible.) 
 
3.) Once your request is filled out, you may scan or take a picture of the form and email it to Merril Clanton at mclanton@ruesd.net for processing.
 
4.) If you are requesting a transfer to Rosedale, based on employment within our boundaries, you will also need to submit a copy of your most current paystub, clearly identifying your employer's name, your name and the address of your place of employment. If your request is approved, you will be notified by email within 30 days.
 
5.) If you are applying for an Intradistrict transfer (meaning you currently reside in the Rosedale boundaries, but would like to transfer from one Rosedale school to another Rosedale school) you will need to send verification of residency along with your request to transfer. Commonly used verifications of residency (which must be no more than 30 days old) are utility bills or mortgage/rental statements.  If your request is approved, you will be notified by email within 30 days.
 
6.) If you are applying to exit Rosedale, simply complete your request. You will not receive any additional communication from Rosedale. Upon receiving your request, we will process and send the request to the district you are requesting to attend. PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19, each district is handling requests somewhat different than in previous years. If you would like to monitor the status of your exit request, you will need to contact the district office of the school/district you are requesting to attend. All exit transfers will be approved by Rosedale and electronically sent out within 7-10 business days.
