Our Cubs celebrated St. Patrick's Day having some fun at lunch recess. Our Activity Aides hid shamrocks around the playground and sent students to go and find them. For the lunch time game, students go to turn into leprechauns and try to protect their gold!
Our 3rd Grade Cubs went on a field trip to Bakersfield College Planetarium. Afterwards Mrs. Whitten's class made their own planispheres to view the constellations at home.

Yesterday's Candy Cub Run was a blast! Thank you to all of our families who came out to cheer on our students. A special shout out to the BC Football team who warmed up our students and encouraged them throughout the day. Don't forget to turn in your sponsorship money by March 13th.
We are incredible proud of our Centennial Cubs who competed at the Kern County Science Fair this week. Congratulations to Adelyn on her second place win! These future scientists have big plans for the future!
Last night our Centennial Oral Language participants competed a the Regional Oral Language Festival. Congratulations to Jane, Leiyanne, Charlotte, Bryn, and Zoey who made it to the County Festival in April.
