Almondale’s second grade students have been running post offices in their classes! They learned about the process of addressing mail, writing correspondence, canceling letters, and more. They took a walk with Stanley to mail letters to their families for Valentine’s Day! ❤️💙💚✨

Patriot 6th Grade Students in Mrs. Hitchcock’s class hit the gridiron in math on Friday! Students moved from yard line to yard line solving one- step equations.The first team to complete all task cards correctly,while showing their work , scored the winning touchdown. 🏈 🎈

Patriot would like to welcome two of Rosedale’s newest support dogs to the Eagle team! Congratulations to Otis and Mrs. Furtado and Oliver and Mrs. Kent on completing the required training courses. Students and staff are already enjoying seeing Otis and Oliver around campus! 🐾❤️🐾
Patriot Elementary had family night at the Bakersfield Condors Friday! Over 100 Eagles showed up to cheer on the Bakersfield Condors in a thrilling Overtime finish and several students got to play broom hockey during intermission!🥅🏒
Patriot 6th Graders got to practice and review different math strategies with coordinate planes, integers, fractions, and absolute value! Students worked in centers with help from CSUB baseball players and got to explain their reasoning at each station!
Rosedale North had another Roadrunner Recess last week. When teachers and staff see positive behavior, they hand out tickets and these go into a water jug. When the jug is filled, everyone earns a Roadrunner Recess. Lots of smiles and fun were had by all! 😀🙌🏼

Patriot Elementary got a very special visit from New York Yankee pitcher and hometown star Allan Winans. Students got to listen to a baseball story, ask questions, and listen to Mr. Winans share about his time in the Major League! Good luck this season!⚾️
