Mrs. Dennis' kindergartners did an experiment looking at which materials will make an ice cube melt the fastest.
Our Kindergarten Cubs had some fun at recess playing a game of flag football organized by some older students and aides.
Centennial 3rd graders hunted for eggs and then collaborated to solve math questions.
Our second grade Cubs traveled to the WInd Wolves Preserve today for a field trip. Students got to hike and learned all about the animals and plants found there.
Congratulations to our top point earners for the 3rd Quarter! We are so very proud of these Cubs!
Yesterday our 3rd Grade Battle of the Books team traveled out to CALM for the Kern County Book Battle. These students have been preparing all year by reading books and memorizing authors' names. Congratulations to our Cubs who had a blast, made new friends, and most importantly enjoyed some great literature this year!
Some of our Cubs have been having fun in Mrs. King and Mrs. Dean's Games & Puzzles ELOP program. Students have had a chance to interact with each other practicing good sportsmanship skills.

It was a warm Cub Day this afternoon as we celebrated the end of the 3rd Quarter. Student Council had some fun activities for our students to enjoy.
Our Cubs celebrated St. Patrick's Day having some fun at lunch recess. Our Activity Aides hid shamrocks around the playground and sent students to go and find them. For the lunch time game, students go to turn into leprechauns and try to protect their gold!
Our 3rd Grade Cubs went on a field trip to Bakersfield College Planetarium. Afterwards Mrs. Whitten's class made their own planispheres to view the constellations at home.
