Rosedale Union School District recognized credentialed, certificated, and community members for their significant work for our students. Mr. Todd Davis was one of the community members who was recognized. Many would recognize him from being on Centennial's campus every day. He is current one of our VP on the PTC board. What you might not know is that is is the photographer behind our yearbook, he leads up the fundraising for Camp KEEP, and supports all of the PTC events. He is such a champion of Camp KEEP that he has gone as a parent counselor when his own child wasn't in 6th grade...and not just for our school! We are so very lucky to have a parent like him working hard for the staff and students of Centennial.
Last night our Spring Music Concert. Our 6th Grade Band and Choir performed. These students have been working very hard this year with our music teacher, Mrs. Napier. Our 5th graders have been learning how to play the recorder and put on quite a show.
Our 4th-6th Grade Battle of the Books Team headed to CALM today to face off against students from the Northern Region of Bakersfield. They were amazing!!
Today our 3rd Grade Battle of the Books team completed with students from all over Kern County. These CUBS have been reading all year in preparation for today's battle!
PTC set out a beautiful trail mix bar for our Centennial Staff today to enjoy!

Today we celebrate our Administrative Professionals here at Centennial. We are incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Macedo and Mrs. Fisher in our office. They help parents, care for students, and make sure our school is up and running every day!
Mrs. Maybee's second graders observed and learned about the anatomy of eggs today. These students are getting ready to hatch their own classroom chicks this spring!
Today we recognize the incredible people who get our students to school and back home safely. A big thanks goes out to all of our bus drivers!
Centennial 2nd Graders got to explore Wind Wolves Preserve yesterday. Students enjoyed the beautiful weather on a hike and learning all about the native animals to our area.
Mrs. Dennis' kinders had a blast doing different science experiments on PEEPS!
Mrs. Williams 5th graders got to participate in Walk Through the Revolution. Students learned all about historical figures from this time period. They reenacted different key points from this time in our country's history.
Centennial's families had a blast last night skating the night away at Rollerama!
Today our first graders went on a field trip to CALM. They got to learn about animals that are native to California. It was a beautiful day to visit our local zoo!
PTC held a Cash Grab today for those students who earned this prize during our Jog-A-Thon fundraiser. It was a sight to see!
